EMR is currently looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator to assist with metal recycling activities. This position will be based out of our Glenwood, MN depot.
Responsibilities:
- Operate material handler and/or excavator to move material
- Complete all required daily equipment reports
- Perform daily maintenance and inspection on equipment
- Adhere to operating and health and safety protocols
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience using a material handler and/or excavator a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in all elements such as rain, cold, and heat
- Ability to handle stressful situations, manages time, and multitasks
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, physical, and drug screening
