Applications Expert - Europe (remote)

This position is remote in Europe. 
 

Eddyfi Technologies is a rapidly expanding multinational high-tech firm that provides high-performance NDT solutions. Eddyfi Robotics is the Center of Excellence for Robotics at Eddyfi Technologies. It is a leading designer and producer of remotely controlled inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) systems for use in restricted areas and hazardous settings. Eddyfi Technologies seeks independent and devoted application specialists to join the product management team. Responsibilities of an application expert include assessing prospects, assisting the Sales Team, diagnosing issues, and providing technical training. A successful application specialist combines high levels of autonomy, commitment to customer happiness, and product expertise. The application expert will be in regular touch with Sales Managers from across the globe and will serve as a liaison to the company's internal resources. They will need to solve technical issues by themselves or with the assistance of engineers and project managers. The application expert will also be expected to provide customers with technical training and participate to the development of training materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Analyse and propose solution for complex client problems;
• Prepare specification documents for the project management team;
• Work as a bridge between the sales team and the project management team;
• Support sales team with technical questions or inquiries;
• Supply necessary information to the inside sales so they can process quotes;
• Support client with any technical difficulties either online or in person;
• Develop the training documentation for products.

REQUIREMENTS
 

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in robotics;
• Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanic concepts;
• Experience with Salesforce, Excel, Word, Outlook is a strong asset; 
• Robotics related academic degree is an asset;
• Must be available to travel 2-6 weeks annually.
