Guest Services Host - 4 hour

Hours: 4 Hours a day, 7:00am – 11:00am

Work pattern: 7 Day cover requirements, Full time & part time positions available

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £8,692.32 pro rata (£11.94 P/H)

West Midland Safari Park are currently recruiting for the position of Guest Services Host, with the option of part time or full-time hours available and the potential to work additional hours which will be discussed during the interview process.

This exciting role working within our luxury Safari Lodges Accommodation provides support to our guests, ensuring they receive an incredible and unique experience.

The role will cover a wide range of tasks to ensure guests receive a 5-star experience upon entering their Lodge, tasks include physical guest preparation tasks inclusive of food, luggage & housekeeping.

As a Guest Services Host you will play a pivotal role being the first and last person that our guests will interact with leaving a great long lasting first impression.

About you  

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong focused nature to make all of our guests feel like VIP’s. You will be passionate, delivering attention to detail whilst displaying effective organisation and timekeeping skills to ensure a seamless guest experience is enjoyed by all delivering service beyond their expectations of quality customer service.

Whilst previous experience in a hospitality or accommodation setting is preferred this is not essential as full training will be provided.

You will need to drive guests into animal restricted areas, you will hold a full, valid driving license and will be a confident driver, as this forms a key part of the role. You will be willing to undertake a First Aid at work qualification funded by the Company if you do not already hold one.

What we are

We are an award-winning visitor attraction, located in Worcestershire in the heart of England. It is home to some of the world’s most beautiful and critically endangered species, with a four-mile safari drive-through, walk-through Discovery Trail, African Village and Lemur Woods, as well beautiful walking trails, allowing guests to experience up close encounters with hundreds of exotic animals.
